2020 Alum Globacap extends their Series A and goes big on Africa: Globacap, a London-based fintech that is working to automate capital markets, has completed a $9 million Series A extension to fuel the roll-out of its private placement platform.The funding extension was led by the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) who have also entered into a commercial agreement with Globalcap to launch two private placement platforms in Africa later this year. The first is to digitise investment into infrastructure projects, what the UK company calls a “$100 billion market”, and the second for investment into SMEs.

2020 Alum CybSafe said to close $7.9m Series ACybersecurity software platform CybSafe has reportedly netted $7.9m in its Series A funding round, which was led by IQ Capital. Additional contributions came from Hanover Digital Investments and B8 Ventures. Funds will be used to focus on expanding its enterprise and mid-market client base, the article said.

2020 Alum Cerebreon Partners with the VRS: Cerebreon, a leading data insights platform in the insolvency tech market, has joined the Vulnerability Registration Service as a member to enhance their existing vulnerability algorithms and rapidly identify individuals that need additional support in the debt process.

2019 Alum CreditEnable raises £2million for their pre-series A RoundJPIN Venture Catalysts Ltd (JPIN VCATS) announced  that they are leading a £2million raise for CreditEnable that will be used to continue the development of CreditEnable’s technology platform and expand the firm’s userbase.

2018 Alum Memgraph raises $6.7million – Croatian startup Memgraph, which has developed one of the fastest graphical databases in the world, has raised $6.7million in their round from Counterview Capital, In-Q-Tel, Mundi Ventures, Heavybit i ID4 Ventures

2018 Alum REGnosys develops a pilot with ISDA in Singapore: The REGnosys & ISDA Pilot examines the allocation for virtual regulatory reports for derivative reporting regulations established through the Singapore Monetary Authority (MAS). The solution allows reporting corporations to access an executable code edition of regulatory needs and execute transactions a reporting engine to validate business logic, which can then be used constantly in the market.

2017 Alum Bud enters into open banking deal with challenger bank Dozens: The association between the firms is intended to encourage Dozens’ customers to save and invest more effectively. Prospective Dozens customers can try out the app without having to fully sign up. Users can then connect one or more existing accounts either from a number of high street banks or investment managers through Bud’s open banking platform.

2016 Alum Nivaura has partnered with the London Stock Exchange to launch LSEG Flow: LSEG Flow, is an end-to-end platform that aims to help digitise origination, negotiation and execution in primary debt markets. LSEG Flow is now available on the International Capital Markets Association Technical Directory here which maps the different technology solutions available in the primary bond markets.

2016 Alum Clausematch successfully launches their new Policy Portal: After the first day of the soft launch of the ClauseMatch portal, the company saw the immediate adoption of the tool across all of the clients with the users of the portal growing from zero to almost 170,000.

2015 Alum Cytora hires former AXA XL Executive Kelly Lyles to their boardLyles brings 35 years of experience in underwriting and general management in global commercial insurance to the role, and will drive Cytora’s expansion into the commercial insurance market.
